Breaking: DAWN Director General, Dipo Famakinwa dies at 51

The Director General of the Development Agenda for Western Nigeria, DAWN, Commission, Dipo Famakinwa, is dead. He reportedly died on Friday morning April 21, 2017 in Lagos.

Until his death, Famakinwa’s organisation was responsible for designing and implementing the blueprint for better integration and governance of the six south-western states. Born on July 7, 1966, Mr. Dipo Famakinwa would have been 51 later this year!
