Muslim Man Offers Free Hugs In Manchester City Centre Days After Attack
A young Muslim man has been out on the streets of Manchester, blindfolded, offering 'free hugs' to passers by just days after the terror attack that left 22 people dead.
Over the past few days, video blogger Baktash Noori has been standing on Market Street in the city centre. He put a sign out in front of him, which read: "I'm Muslim and I trust you. Do you trust me enough for a hug?"
Baktash seized on the poignant idea of 'small acts of kindness' in the wake of last week's Manchester bombing. He focused on the idea of trust, building bridges, and showing that thousands of other Muslims in the city are in shock. More photos below;
