California Police have arrested two groups for stealing more than 40 cell phones, cash and credit cards at the on the ongoing Coachella Music & Arts Festival at the Southern California desert.
The arrest comes after a New York man identified as Reinaldo De Jesus Henao, was arrested at the Coachella festival with more than 100 cell phones in his backpack on April 14.
The two groups who were arrested on Saturday had multiple phones on them when they were caught.
According to a police report, 35-year-old Angela Trivino of New York City and 38-year-old Viviana Hernandez of Los Angeles, were working together and they also identify the other group as 29-year-old Brenda Cansino of Miami, 27-year-old Marco Leon of Los Angeles and 25-year-old Sharon Ruiz of Van Nuys.
The Desert Sun reports that the five culprits were booked into Riverside County jail on theft and conspiracy charges.
