Trump's victory: Hollywood veteran actor Samuel L. Jackson may come back to South Africa

A lot of stars said they would move to Canada and other countries if Donald Trump won the US election, so it looks like it's time for them to pack their bags.

Veteran actor Samuel L Jackson told Jimmy Kimmel back in December 2015 that he would move his "black ass to South Africa" if Trump won.

So now may be a good time to look for a condo in the sub-continent then, Samuel. We hear Cape Town is just lovely this time of year.

"If Donald Trump wins the election, I'll move to Canada".

It's what several celebrities said during the US election, and now that President elect Trump is taking his seat in the White House, we're about to find out if they'll make good on their promise.

Big name stars including Lena Dunham, Miley Cyrus and Amy Schumer claimed they would have to bid farewell to the US if Trump and won - but will they really do that now?
