This is actually the fourth time the Duchess has worn this delicate brocade design by Danish designer Day Birger et Mikkelsen - no wonder we recognised it straight away.

Its first outing was way back in 2006, when Kate attended the wedding of Laura Parker-Bowles. She then turned to the old favourite for Mike Tindall and Zara Philips' wedding in 2011, changing up her headpiece for something a little more statement. More on Mirror
