Breaking: Unknown gunmen behead three children in Taraba

– Three little children playing in a stream in Taraba have met their untimely end on the hands of callous unknown gunmen

Three children of the same family have been killed and beheaded by unknown gunmen in Taraba state.
National Mirror reports that the incident occurred at Dissol village in Gassol local government area of the state on Monday, November 7.

The sad incident was announced on Friday, November 11 by parish priest of the victims Rev.Fr Julius Ioryue, who told journalists in Jalingo, the state capital that the children were in the stream together with other people when the incident happened.

He said the unknown gunmen, who were armed with dangerous weapons attacked, killed and beheaded three out of the four children of Mr and Mrs James Agambuegh, who have now been thrown into deep psychological shock. National Mirror reports that Barrister Anna, the wife of Governor Darius Ishaku, paid a condolence visit to the family on Friday and appealed to the people of the area live in harmony with one another. She also lamented the continuous loss of precious lives in communities across the state.

“The governor has always say, give me peace and I will give you development. Without peace there can never be development. “As regard the security report on the killings I want to assured you that I will channel it to the appropriate quarters for timely government intervention,” she said.
