Taylor Swift, Adele, and Shawn Mendes Win Big at BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards

Taylor Swift

BBC Radio 1 held their annual Teen Awards on Sunday (Oct. 23, 2016), where Taylor Swift and Adele took home some of the biggest prizes of the night.

Swift won an award for being the “Most Entertaining Celebrity,” Billboard reports. The singer seemed to have had as much an idea of what that means as we do. Still, she sent in a very appreciative acceptance video in which she revealed there was one entertaining thing she wishes she could do.

“I immediately just wish I could juggle. I can’t. I have nothing to offer. I just have THANKS. Thanks so much,” she said on the video.

Swift wasn’t able to attend the awards because she was in Austin, headlining the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix show.

Adele took home the award for Best British Solo Artist, because who else would even come close? 5 Seconds of Summer won Best International Group and The Vamps were named Best British Group.

Shawn Mendes cleaned up with two awards that night. He won both Best International Solo Artist and Best Single for “Stitches” and closed out the show with a live performance of the acclaimed song.
Other award winners include Suicide Squad for Best Film (OK…) and Pokémon Go won Best Game because, apparently, they’re still playing Pokemon Go over there.
