Leaked recording reveals what Theresa May REALLY thinks about Brexit

Theresa May secretly admitted that leaving the European Union would impact Britain’s security and cause businesses to exit the UK.

The Prime Minister revealed her concerns in a session with bankers before the vote – in sharp contrast to her relatively muted public speeches on the issue which left many Remain supporters disappointed.

She told Goldman Sachs workers that the “economic arguments are clear” for staying in the EU and that being part of the bloc is “significant” for the UK.

Ms May also warned that firms could flee to mainland Europe in the event of a Leave vote as she heralded the “definite benefits” of remaining in, reports The Guardian. Read in full
