After she opened tonight's episode, viewers started slating the presenter online - completely unprovoked.
Taking to Twitter, one vented: "God I really can't stand Tess Daley - who voice is on the same level as nails scratching a blackboard #Strictly."
Another then added: "Tess, could you be any more fake? I don't trust a thing you say. #Strictly."
Moments later, a different fan commented: "Not sure whats worse , the lines that are read by Tess Daly or Tess Daly, surely Anton's turn next year with Claudia #Strictly."
Shortly afterwards, another tweeted: "Can Claudia just host this show on her own please #strictly."
The cruel comments come just hours after judge Len Goodman was rude to the presenter during last night's show. More here
